Mentor
Time: Monday through Thursday, 6-8pm and Sunday afternoons
Commitment: 90 minutes per week for six months
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree and two years of work experience, preferably in a field related to writing.
-Strong listening and communication skills when working with young people.
-A willingness to establish a relationship with a young person based on mutual understanding and respect.
Training: New mentors are required to attend an orientation session with our youth coordinator. Orientation sessions are held throughout the year.
