Volunteer
There are a number of ways you can volunteer at Mighty Writers. The most popular way is to tutor.

Mighty Writers also offers unpaid internships on a rolling schedule, based upon current needs and areas of strength and interest. We’ve offered internships in nonprofit administration, tutoring and education, graphic design and writing.
Responsibilities can vary, but may include:
• assisting students with homework and writing projects
• developing newsletter content
• serving as a substitute assistant for writing workshops
• assisting with administrative tasks, new computer applications
• attending literacy and community events
• leading projects related to publication
• leading presentations
We look for applicants who can donate 15-30 hours per week for twelve weeks. Send resume/information to rloeper@mightywriters.org. We’re happy to work with universities or departments to facilitate internship credit. We value constructive criticism and innovative thinking. Please reply with a short letter of interest and resume.
We’re also always looking for new and unique ways to spread the Mighty word, including raising funds to extend our program’s reach. If you have expertise in marketing and/or fundraising (or simply some really fresh ideas to help us grow), we’d love to hear from you.
