As young directors and players, we’ll bring our stories to life, then write and illustrate the stories in book form. We’ll learn the basic elements of a story, including the who (characters), where (setting), and what (plot). Be part of the magic of the stories we’ll be creating through play.

In this whimsical workshop with local humor writer Diane Bones, we’ll learn how to use a sense of humor to energize and improve our writing. Exercises will help unlock your funny bone and look at your writing talent with a big smile.
Comic Madness (Ages 10-12) Wednesday, 6-8pm Oct. 12-Nov. 16 (6 weeks) Learn the necessary skills techniques for crafting a narrative—including pacing, story-boarding, page layout and cover art.
